Cadillac Repair: 93 cadillac will not stay started, scan tool, fuel pressure

i  have a 93 cady deville it stared up but as soon as you take your foot off the gas it cuts off please help me

Hi Latina, If your battery went dead or was replaced and then the problem started then relearning the idle might be all that is necessary. Otherwise getting a scan tool and seeing what the sensors are doing and what the fuel pressure is might help. If the idle is too slow or rough then shorted out injectors or need for a tune-up might help. I would suggest taking the Caddy to your mechanic for diagnosis and if you know how to repair whats broke then do it yourself. Otherwise let him do it because throwing parts will get expensive with this type of repair. Bill
