Cadillac Repair: 1997 Cadillac STS Power seats, cadillac sts, scan tool

The Driver side power seat stopped working suddenly. I cannot locate a fuse that is labeled d-seat, and the passenger side is OK. None of the buttons work-do you know which fuse I should check and/or relay etc? Thanks

Hi Robert, Sounds like you will need to get the car to your mechanic or get ahold of a Caddy manual because there is a seat module that needs to be tested and it is located under the drivers seat. I had to replace a couple of them because they just burn out. Useing a scan tool and checking for codes would lead you in the right direction. And then following the trouble trees useing a voltmeter would need to be done. The only thing you might check is the circuit breaker for the seats 30A in the fuse center underhood by the LF strut. If it is good then someone will need to test the system and determine if it is a module, connector or wire problem. Sorry I can't be more help. Bill
