Cadillac Repair: noise in rear, 1993 cadillac fleetwood, cadillac fleetwood

1993 cadillac fleetwood, rear wheel drive.

 I hear a flop, flop, flop when applying brake, noise coming from rear. Any idea what it might be?

Hi Oscar, It is really difficult to suggest anything without hearing the noise first hand but maybe a spring or holddown for a rear brake shoe has broken or the drum isn't cut propperly and when you brake the shoe if lifted off the backing plate and then it snaps back down...this repeats itself and is heard more at lower speeds.
