What about the engine idle trouble? And also I pulled some codes. Can you tell me what they mean? Thanks for all your help!
Codes:
PO 13
PO 17
PO 27
PO 30
PO 46
PO 55
PO 98
PCM?

To answer your question more specifically, I think the blower motor shorted out and was replaced entirely. Do you think it could be that the thermostat is stuck? Thanks again!

PLEASE do NOT start a NEW question, Use the FOLLOWUP as I do NOT get the original information from the original question when you start a NEW question.

Therefore, I do not know any specifics about what kind of car you have,

This is for a 1994 Cadillac Deville. Neither the heat nor air work. The last work that was done on this car was a new fuel pump and filter (6 months ago). I am worried about this problem, but not as much as I am the engine idling trouble and the codes. The engine wants to race sometimes, and if you let off of the break, it will take off and accelerate up to about 25 mph. Also, the codes above, what do they mean? Thanks!

Answer
PO 13 = deceased rear oxygen sensor. Replace it.

PO 17 = deceased front oxygen sensor. Replace it.

PO 27 = Open THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR (TPS). replace it.

PO 30 = IDLE SPPED CONTROL MOTOR malfunction. replace it.

PO 46 = Left to right bank function disorder.

PO 55 = Closed throttle angle. See code PO 27.

PO 98 = Cruise control servo malfunction.

PCM? = NO, it is NOT a PCM fault.

BEFORE you do ANYTHING about these codes, ERASE them ALL from the computer and see which ones reappear. Drive the vehicle for several miles right AFTER you erase these codes.

To erase the codes:

1. Locate the fuse panel UNDER THE HOOD in the engine compatment.

2. make SURE the ignition key is in your pocket.

3. Remove fuse # 13 for 30 seconds.

4. re-install fuse # 13.

5. start and drive the vehicle immediately.

6. See if ANY of the codes re-appear and let me know which ones do.

Do you have ANY fan blower operation on ANY speeds, Including HIGH ?. Is this the ONLY problem with the A/C-Heat system ?. the ONLY thing you did was to replace the blower motor, CORRECT ?.
