Cadillac Repair: 1995 SLS water pump belt, water pump, sls

I am trying to figure out how to change the water pump belt on my mother's 95 Cadillac SLS, it's the small belt on the left side of the engine.  Can you tell me what steps must be taken to do so.  Thank you in advacnce for your help.

Hi Richard, Changeing the belt is easy once the water pump is out but if you remove the tensioner assembly you should be able to sneak it out past the waterpump pulley. You lift up on the tensioner with your fingers and then remove the 2 bolts that hold it to the engine. When installing the bolts they are low torque so snug them up and turn just alittle bit...89inlbs is the spec. Hope that helps. Bill
