Cadillac Repair: cadillac power window problem, circuit breaker, eight times

Question
I have a 1998 ElDorado. I rolled the drivers side windown down and now it wont come back up.
I checked the fuses and they are O.K Then I took the door panel off and lo and behold it started working again!! Re-installed the door panel. Rolled the window up six or eight times. Then it stopped working again. Any ideas suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Hi Ferris, The motor will need to be replaced because it is on its last leg so to speak. Inside the motor is a circuit breaker and it is drawing alot of amps to go up and that is causing the breaker to open. After it cools down then it starts working again. Bill
