Cadillac Repair: Airconditioning, cadillac eldorado, blower motor

Question
Is there a fuse for it? If so where is it? Blows out hot air, even when not on. The previous owner said thats how he fixed it. Thanks

Hi Steve, There isn't a fuse for the blower motor. What has happened is the blower motor is drawing too many amps and caused the power module to short out. You need to replace the blower motor and power module. If you look under the hood by the windshield you will see the blower motor. And looking to the left and on top of the evaporator case is the power module. It is a rectangular black part with 2 wire connectors on top. Hope that helps. Bill
