Cadillac Repair: engine miss 93 cad. 4.6, noid light, scan tool

thanks for the input bill,sorry i failed to mention all injector circuits are working properly,at least up to the conn. just before it goes into the intake cover.This is a first generation northstar which cant be run with the cover off,guess i better pull the cover back off,pull the plugs & check @ the injector with a noid light.Any further suggestions would be much appreicated THANKS
P.S. scan tool also shows quad drivers normal

Hi Rob, Too bad I couldn't be there to recheck the steps you did. If the noid light blinks with the engine running then maybe you will have to take it in for diagnosis. Or maybe I just don't understand your meaning of a dead cylinder and how you arrived at that conclusion. It would seem that the engine should be working correctly. There was a wierd case where I found sugar packed into the fuel rail and it was blocking fuel to an injector. Repost if you think I could be of anymore help and good luck. Bill
