Chevrolet Repair: 1997 chevy vortec 5.7 swap to 5.0, chevy vortec, chevy c1500

I have a 1997 chevy c1500 with vortec 350 sfi.  I have 2 cylinders dead due to the fuel injectors continuosly spraying. So I have limited, if any funds to repair this.  I do have a chevy 5.0 with high rise intake and carburetor available, i believe it originally came out of cadillac.
What I need to know is will and how can this work?? I am stuck in a bad place and in bad health and need this truck going asap for as little as possible.  AS I said the 5.0 is being given to me as a gift. Any and all replies are taken as a blessing.  Thank you.

HI TIM, IN ORDER TO SWITCH THIS FUEL INJ INTAKE WITH A CARBURETOR YOU WOULD HAVE TO DO A LOT OF WORK TO GET THIS TO WORK CORRECTY.. AND I MEAN A LOT OF WORK..SUCH AS A FUEL PUMP WITH LESS PRESSURE,SUCH AS 5 TO 6 LBS VS 42 LBS. THE PCM WOULD NEED TO BE ALTERED,,IF POSSIBLE TO SEE THIS NEW SYSTEM ,SUCH AS WIRING, ALL THE SENSORS..[TRUST ME,,, YOU DO NOT WANT TO DO THIS] IF I WERE YOU I WOULD LOOK FOR A USED VORTEC INJECTOR ASSEMBLY AND PUT THIS IN YOUR ENG.IF YOUR LOCAL BONE YARD DOES NOT HAVE THIS GET ON LINE AND SEARCH THIS WAY. THEY ARE OUT THERE..I FEEL BAD ABOUT YOUR HEALTH AND YOUR SITUATION,BUT THIS WILL BE MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE TO REPAIR IT LIKE THIS THEN GOING THE OTHER WAY,,AND MUCH,MUCH FASTER DOWN TIME..I WISH I COULD HELP YOU OUT MORE..
