Chevrolet Repair: Heater, dual climate, auto button

Question
I just changed the battery in my 2005 silverado and I have dual climate control. The problem is that the heater stays on , on the passenger side and the temp needle goes to zero after the truck starts up

Answer
OKay, by temp needle are you talking about the gauge cluster?  First disconnect the cables from the battery, then touch them together.  Hold for 30 seconds.  Then reconnect.  After that, turn the key on engine off, set temp on A/C control head to 74 degrees, and hit the auto button.  Wait for all modes of A/c to run its course, about a minute.  Then you should be ok.  If the needle is still messed up, you will need a new cluster
no repair for that
