Chevrolet Repair: car wont start immediately after turning off, spark tester, fuel pump

Question
I have a 1996 camaro that has just recently started to not want to start.  When I drive for awhile under normal conditions say 45 minutes or so, then stop to get gas or whatever, it does not start.  It will turn over.  After about 5 minutes, it will start.

Answer
Hey,

YOu need to narrow it down to fuel or spark that is missing.  A spark tester can be purchased for under 5.00 and when it isnt starting you should hook it up to the coil and see if there is any spark.  If you give me that info I can guide you further.  At this point it could be anyhting from security to a fuel pump, module, computer or coil.
