Chevrolet Repair: chevrolet, upper control arm, chevy 1500

Question
i have a 1993 chevy 1500 the front driver side caliper was sticking and causing a terrible vibration in the front end and in the steering wheel i replaced the caliper but it did not fix the problem i noticed when i stopped the truck the rotor was glowing RED HOT!!! any solutions?

Answer
Hey,

Its probably the flex line.  They get collapsed on the inside sheath and when you apply brake pressure they pinch themself off in sort of a paradox and can't let the pressure out.  Pump up the brake and let it go.  See if the rotor has resistance from brake pressure when you let your foot of the brake.  If it does open the bleeder (when your foot is off the brake) and see if the caliper relaxes.  IF it does it needs a flex line.  They usually get pinched at the metal clamp on the upper control arm.
