Chevrolet Repair: fuel in oil, chevy beretta, vacuum line

Question
Hello Wayne,
95 chevy beretta 2.2, fuel in oil, just changed oil and level up again, did compression test and all cyl are equal @ 155 psi, no external injector leaks, runs good, no smoke, any ideas?,

Answer
FUEL IN OIL? Enough to make the oil level go up but not make it run rough? Pull the vacuum line off the pressure regulator and see if there is fuel there.  there should be no fuel in the vacuum port of the regulator.  They can leak and draw fuel into the manifold enough to overload the motor.  Thats a weird one though because they normally run rough.  The fuel lines come up the back of the motor and are bolted to the back of the intake and then go into the fuel rail. There is really no connection to the crankcase without going through the combustion chamber first.
