Chevrolet Repair: 1992 Silverado, fuel pressure, fuel filter

my truck will start and run apx. 1/2 mile and then wants to die. if left running in park will run for awhile and then die.  what would you suggest?

Hey,

 Check the fuel filter and if it still does it check fuel pressure.  If you can start with a good fuel pressure reading 9-13psi I can help you from there but you need to check that first.  IT sounds like a plugged filter or defective pump. Check fuel pressure to eliminate that first.
