Chevrolet Repair: How to install a starter????, 1989 s10 blazer, s10 blazer

I have a 1989 S10 Blazer. The car was running and after sitting for a couple of weeks in the cold it wouldn't start. The first thing I did was got a new starter? How do I install it??? And is there anything else I should consider checking???

Hey,

 Disconnect battery.  Lift and block front end.  Remove battery cables and S terminal from starter.  Remove 2 Starter bolts from starter to block.  Remove starter.  Install new starter reverse procedure and shim if necessary.
 You should be checking for 12v at S terminal before you replace starter.
