How do I change the coolant temperature sensor on a 2002 hyudai accent gl with a 1.6 litre engine and where on the engine is it located.

Answer
The coolant temperature sensor is located in the rear of the cylinder head on the transmission end of the engine.  

You'll find this sensor very difficult to replace.  Most likely, you'll need to cut the wire and install a deep socket to break the old one loose and get it out.  Then, you'll probably need to install the new one turning it with an open end wrench little by little.  There's very little room to access this sensor without significant disassembly, but it can be done with patience and the right tools.
