Chevrolet Repair: 1991 S10 Blazer A/C fuse blowing, s10 blazer, compressor clutch

After about five minutes or less of running, the A/C fuse(25amp)will blow.  I am looking at it possibly being the compressor clutch since it is the original one.  Any ideas?

HEy,

 The AC compressor clutch could be causing the short.  YOu need to check the amperage draw of the compressor.  An amperage probe and graphing meter would be a perfect way to test this.  Sometimes when the compressor clutch engages an amperage spike can be caught with a graphing meter.
