Question
QUESTION: i have had this in the shop for tranny work and front end alignment in the last 3 months and had an updated harness for the tranny i guess what my ? is when i got it out the alignment shop my brake lights did not work i don't know if this is related  but we replaced the brake switch x2 the bulbs x 2 and the blinker/cruse/flasher switch on the steering column the only way we could make the B-lights come on was put a jumper on the a and e post on the brake switch the weird part of it is there are six posts on the brake switch 4 are hot 2 are not until i hit the pedal 2 of the hots go cold i would not think the lights are activated by a ground (brake flashers and reverse lights do not work) the reverse lights went out well before the others.

ANSWER: Hey,

The switch is adjustable.  Look at it very closely, you will see a little lever that comes out right near the clip that goes on the brake pedal.  They are supposed to self adjust when youput them on but if they come out one click it will be off.

QUESTION: thank u for being so fast but we depressed the switch manually and what i do not under stand is y the switch has 4 positive terminals could that be the module

Answer
Try wiggling the multi function switch with your foot on the brake.  12v comes up from the brake light swtich and goes through the MFS when its in the neutral position.  If the switch is defective it could be interrupting the power to the brake lights.  They sometimes get cracks in the pivot and start to split apart and lift up.
