Chevrolet Repair: 1993 k1500 4.3l fuel injecters, vin code, trial and error

Hello, I was wondering if the fuel injectors out of 1998-93 chevy 5.7 motor do any good for my 1993 K.O./ 262 4.3L/ vin code Z. Any thoughts will be great.. Thanks

Hey,

 I know they are a different part number but visually they are the same.  I was stuck and used one years back the other way around 4.3-5.7 in a pinch and I ended up leaving it in because it worked fine.  I don't recommend using parts like that but trial and error doesnt hurt.  You should check the resistance andmake sure they are similar so you don't take out a driver though.
