Chevrolet Repair: 1995 Astrovan fan sometimes works, chevy astrovan, coolant

1995 Chevy Astrovan- when I turn the fan on it usually doesnt work- then I could drive a while and it might kick on, But it seems only on high?

Hey,

 Next time it quits pop the hood and tap the fan.  It is on the extreem passengers side by the coolant bottle.  If you look down by the fender you will see the round outside end of it. Just tap on it and it will probably start back up.  If so. Needs a fan.
