Chevrolet Repair: 1992 caprice wont start, test light, steering column

Question
i recently replaced the fuel pump, spark plugs, distrib cap and rotor. also the steering column was replaced. car won't start.  pickup at distributor checks out okay. fuel injectors just not firing.

Answer
Hey,

Did the vehicle start before you replaced these items?  The ECM receives a signal from the ignition module for engine RPM.  No signal, no fuel.  If you put your test light on ground and with the key on engine off toggle this reference on the purple with a white wire from the module you will hear them pulse.
