Chevrolet Repair: 97 Monte Carlo, signal problem, stop lamp

My turn signals do not work and I need to locate where to replace the flasher/fuse. Also the security light on the dash stays on is that a problem?

you better check to see if ur brake lights work either!  Most likely only your high mount stop lamp will work and the left and right brake lights wont.  Then you will need your hazard switch replaced, which will also take care of your turn signal problem.  if thats the case i strongly recmmend having a qualified technician replace it.  As for where your flasher is located it is located above your brake pedal, slightly to the left.  THe security light is most likely on because your theft detterent module is bad.  You should also have that repaired by a qualified tech otherwise someday the vehicle may not start because of this!  ...good luck
