Chevrolet Repair: thermostat on 97 lumina 3.1 v6, changing a thermostat, radiator hose

Question
how do i replace it? i know i need to remove throttle body but what about the exaust? it runs in front of the opening and i'm worried that it wont come out with out removing it

Answer
seems like a lot of trouble for changing a thermostat.  It should be pretty accessible without a lot of time spent working on it.  Look for the top radiator hose and follow it back to the motor.  That should be the thermostat housing.  I am willing to bet that you would not mess with exhaust to remove a thermostat.  I am doubting the need for removing the TBI
