Chevrolet Repair: 2004 Tahoe brake lights, turn signal switch, emergency flasher

A couple weeks ago, I was informed that my brake lights weren't working, including the ones on top of the window.  Just recently, I tried using my cruise control and found out that wasn't working either.  I tried changing the fuses, hoping that would be the easy fix, but nothing changed.  I don't know if these could possible be related, but I just found it strange that they both went out about the same time.  Now with my brake lights, when I use my remote to unlock the doors, the parking lights go on, but I get nothing when I brake.  Any ideas?

Hi Matt,
The cruise is quite likely related to the top stop light bulbs, if they are burnt out.
The other stop lights are on a different circuit, and go through the turn signal switch.
Make sure the emergency flasher switch is off, and the flashers are good.
