Chevrolet Repair: 2001 Chevy Blazer problems, chevy blazer, water plugs

Question
I live in Las Vegas, it has been 117 in the shade for days; I think the blazer
hates the heat. Once it gets hot after about 20 - 30 minutes of driving, it
hesitates upon taking off from being stopped. Sometimes it makes it thru the
intersection and sometimes it chokes! It will restart with a couple of trys. I
had someone look at it and he did all of the typical tune-up type stuff; oil,
water, plugs, etc.  Once it cools off it seems to be ok for another 20 - 30
minutes..........   help! what can it be?  it's too hot to be messin' with this.

If you can give some suggestions, I would sure appreciate it.

Thank you,
Deb

Answer
Hi Deb,
The fuel pump may not be circulating enough fuel to keep it cool, so if you haven't done so before, changs the fuel filter. I would even test the pressure.
