Chevrolet Repair: help, mileage cars, salvage yard

i know our not a oldsmobile guy but i have 1992 98 and i have been having a problem, 1 day i was driving and the car shut off, so when the car cooled off it started up and then shut off when the car warmed up/ got hot, i was told it was my Coil Pasck so i bought 3 from the salvage yard and each time i changed it the car did the exact same thing, got hot and turned off. what do u think is wrong with my ride

well coil packs can crack and when they heat up the crack expands and they fail. i would check your fuel pump. on higher mileage cars they can fail when they get too hot also. have someone turn the key on while you listen at the fuel tank the next time it happens. if you hear nothing....you'll know what to change next. hope this helps.
