Chevrolet Repair: something electrical!!, chevy s10, fuse box

QUESTION: I was putting my battery back in my 96 chevy s10 and hit a metal bracket with the pliers, causing a spark. Now my truck wont even attempt to start. I have tried to find the relay that controls the starter but cant find it anywhere. The fusible link running off of the positive battery post is intact. What do I do???

ANSWER: Do you have headlights?
If yes, do you have dash lights?

Its most likely a fuse close to the battery, check for an additional positive cable(not the big thick one), follow it to a fuse box of sorts. Check those fuses. If the are good, check the fusible link located on the wiring harness going to the alternator.
