Chevrolet Repair: 1995 Monte Carlo, stock replacement, timing light

Question
QUESTION:  I had a problem with my car running rough, I replaced my plugs and it fixed the problem and it was running great.
After about a month it started running rough again. I had over 50,000 miles on the last set of plugs and they were clean. My motor has 118,000 miles on it. Is there somthing else going on? I don't get a check Engine light and all of my fluids are full and clean. Looking forward to hear from you. Thanx in advance!

ANSWER: I wonder what kind of plugs you put in it. Believe it or not some engines require O.E.M. replacements. I would start by pulling all the plugs and cleaning them really good. Also check the plug wires while your in the process. Any cracked or burnt ones can cause a problem. I once had a 1996 camaro that ran the greatest on O.E.M. stock replacement plugs, anything else and it didn't run so hot. Try this and get back to me we will go from there.

QUESTION:  I pulled out my plugs and all but one plug looks good and the one plug is not fireing it is coverd in gas and wet.
I checked to see if the wire was on all the way (a new one) I checked the coil with a timing light and it is sending spark down the wire to the plug but no spark I thought "bad plug" I replaced the plug with a new one and no change still not fireing. When I replaced my plug wires I had rust on my coil terminals for the back 3 plugs I cleaned the rust off with steel wool. All of the terminals have fire. I'm stumped! I hate to think I'm going to have to pay someone to fix this problem. Thanx for your response.

Answer
I would try another new plug wire. If that doesn't fix the problem then your going to have to let the professionals take over. I can't beleive that you have spark at the coil but not at the plug. If you do have enough power out of the coil then it has to be a wire.
