Chevrolet Repair: IGNITION 1978 PICK UP, solenoid

THE IGNITION TURNS ALL THE WAY TO START POSITION AND EVERYTHING WORKS SO THE POWER IS AT THE IGNITION BUT THE KEY WON'T START THE PICK UP. IT'S LIKE SOMETHING ETERNAL IS NOT CATCHING

It actually sounds like your wires to the starter aren't hooked up like they should be. I can't say for sure but there should be a ground, a positive straight from the battery and I think two smaller wires to the solenoid. Check that out and get back to me with a follow up and we will go from there.
