Chevrolet Repair: 96 Lumina-sedan-no parking lights, dash lights, photocell

Cannot get the parking light operational,or dash lights, headlights work, fuses are okay, the car has automatic light control with photocell in top of dash. Tailights also not operating.

Hi Steve,

If you have photocell, you should still be able to bypass this, or manually override.  Something like lights won't only rely on automatic operation.  

I am trying to refresh my memory, but doesn't your car have the push button headlight switch?  Then has a slider dimmer switch, that slides up and down?  I suspect the switch is bad.  Don't go to the dealer for this.  Parts store...a good one.  

Of course, it could be ground, bulbs, open in circuit.  I still suspect the switch, but needed to meantion those things to cover other bases.
