Chevrolet Repair: Not getting fuel???, chev cavalier, gas tank

I own a 2002 Chev Cavalier.  The car has been running fine.  My wife took it out today,then came home and parked it.  I went out and it won't start.  There is no sound from the fuel pump priming the the system.  Checked fuses and relay.  All OK.  Someone told me that there is a reset button for the fuel pump but not sure where it would be located..This is a 4 door.    Any ideas would be great.  Thanks,  Dan

Hi Dan, this sounds like the fuel pump has gone bad. You could try this to get it running, Have someone crank the engine while you bang on the bottom of the gas tank with a large hammer. Hit the tank in th middle and make sure the person doesn't stop cranking the engine while you hit the tank. 99 percent of the time this will get the pump running.
How long it will run for...who knows.
