Chevrolet Repair: 88 Chevy PU RWAL Brake, gal fuel tank, frame rail

Question
The rear brake line burst along the frame rail right beside the 34 gal fuel tank. I replaced the line from the front frame rail back to the rear hose. I am having trouble bleeding the brakes now. I drove on the front brakes only until the fuel  tank was at a manageable level for removal and refitting (to gain access to brake line) I understand that there is a valve that must be "reset" to allow the brake fluid to flow again? Can you help me understand where and how to open this valve and bleed the rear system?

Answer
Hi Rob, This is always a problem to get fluid to the rear after this happens. Just keep pumping the brake pedal on the top side with the bleeder open in the rear. Be sure to let the pedal come to the top before pushing to the again. It will take many pumps to get fluid so don't think it's  going to be fast. There is no valve to reset, you could try opening the front bleeder screw but this might be a problem.

Hope this helps
