Chevrolet Repair: Fuel Tank Vent Valve, vent valve, spare tire

we have a a 2004 blazer.  We cant put gas in it.  If you use a gas can it takes about 20mins to put 5 gallons in it.  We have heard it is the vent valve.  Is this easy to do yourself and where is it located?  thanks for any help you can offer.

Hi Brandi, Yes it is the vent valve and isn't to bad to replace. It is located in front of the spare tire. You may want to remove the spare tire to get more room, I can do it without removing the tire but I'm on a lift.
