Chevrolet Repair: 2001 chevy blazer 4x4, vortec engine, chevy blazer

when it reaches operating temp after driving if i shut it off for a few minutes and restart it i hav a bad tick , sounds like a card in the spokes of a bike rim, in the engine compartment, and my temp guage stays at 215 degrees ,what could be the problem, it has the 4.3 vortec engine

Hi Robert, This sounds like you have a bad lifter. You should try a oil/crank case cleaner in it just to see if that helps. It would be worth the money to try it. If it doesn't work you need new lifters which is a lot of money.
