Chevrolet Repair: 1992 Chevy Cavalier, chevy cavalier, throttle positioning sensor

Question
I HAVE A 92 CAVALIER THAT IS HAVING A HARD TIME STARTING WHEN WARM. WHEN STARTED IT STALLS. HARD TIME TURNING OVER. AUTO PARTS STORE SAYS EITHER THROTTLE POSITIONING SENSOR OR IGNITION CONTROL MODULE. HELP ??

Answer
I would need to know what you mean by "hard time turning over".
If the starter is cranking it very slowly when hot, it could be a weak battery, a bad battery cable connection, a worn starter, or the engine tightening up, like from lack of oil or overheating.
Out of time, or flooding are also possible.

I won't say it couldn't be either of the parts the store said, but I would want to know for sure before just investing that money on a guess.
Did they connect a scan tool, and really check them?
There are several sensors that could make a perfectly good ignition system act bad. Temp sensor is one.
