Chevrolet Repair: Sqealing belt on Chevy K1500 PU, chevy k1500, alternater

I have a 1996 chev K1500 Ext. Cab, 350 5.7. I have a squeeling belt problem. The belt is new (3 times now), the alternater is new, the AC compressor is new, the serpentine belt tensioiner and new idler pulley are all new, All in attempts to find the cause of the squeal!) It STILL squeels!! Is there a heavier duty belt tensioner I could try? (maybe my new one is too whimpy?)

Hello Paul,
The tensioner may be just fine.
Get off to the side, and eyeball the belt, and see if it is running straight and true.
If any of the pulleys is out of line, it can cause squeeling.
Any chance it could be the water pump squeeling?
