Chevrolet Repair: Electrical problem, cigarette lighter fuse, cigarette lighters

Hello!
I have a Metro 1999 and y never have electricity in my cigarette lighter how to resolve this problem ( where is the fuse? or whatever)

Hello Jasmin....The first thing you must find is the fuse panel...This location should be shown in your owners manual. Cigarette lighters are a ''high'' amperage accessory. ...so you will find the fuse to be a 20 to 30 amp type fuse. Many times in a manual the fuse is not listed as a cigarette lighter fuse, but as some other option. The reason for that is that the fuse is used to power some other accessory also...Just look at all the high number fuses to see which one is ''burned'' out and replace that fuse with one of the same amperage.If it burns out again ,do not put in a higher number...you have a ''short'' somewhere...Now go take a look...Best
