Chevrolet Repair: 97 s10 fuel system, oil pressure switch, e mail address

Question
This is my wife's e-mail address so give me a brake. Anyway I have a 97 s10 4.3 chevy. I've got spark. I've checked the fuel pump with a jumper wire and can get it to run. I can't get voltage at the fuel pump connection terminal. I read nothing on three of the connection terminals and only the 5.0 volt referance voltage on the other. I've swaped around all the relays in my glove box to see if that would help but no luck. Since I can't get it to run I guess there on reason to check the oil pressure switch? Is the PCM the only thing left to check? If you could run through the whole electrical one line of this system it might could help me. Thanks

Answer
I don't know what you are checking, cause the fuel system doesn't have a 5 volt refference signal.\
If you don't know that, I would highly recommend that you stop that Jumpering, cause you stick battery voltage where it doesn't belong, and you can be buying sensors and an ECM in about as quick as you can see an arc.

The public library refference section is just packed with service manuals you can use for free. Do some research on where and how to test electronic systems.

You may well have just a blown fuse.
The oil pressure switch only sends power when the engine is running, but it is supplied through the same fuse, or fusible link that powers the relay.
