Chevrolet Repair: ecc location on my 95 chevy beretta, chevy beretta, control computer

i am having the engine control computer replaced by mechanic and want to know location so i know he is doing what he says rather than find since i am woman he is taking advantage of my lack of knowledge

Daggone things are everywhere in all types of cars,
Might be in the engine compartment, under the dashboard, under the seat or in the center console (if it has one).
Best thing to do is start marking everything you think is a computer with an "x" with whiteout or your initials.
Then ask for the old part when hes done.
