Chevrolet Repair: Digital EGR valve, egr valve, wire colors

Question
Hi James

This is the read out of the EGR valve

From Brn wire D to

Red wire C 12 ohms  #3

Brown wire B  22 ohms  #2

Lt Blue wire A  22 ohms  #1

Some one else mention a blockage in the intake manifold.  If any of the solenoids get energised while the engine is at idle, shouldn't I have a change in the idle RPM?  I have energised all three (not all at once) with no change in idle.
Thanks
Glenn

Answer
Yes, the motor should actually stumble a little bit with one EGR. But with three it could actually be a little hard to notice if at all.
I am not questioning your abilty to check ohms,is there a plug that comes off of the egr valve that has these wire colors or are you just identifying which wire connects to that part of the egr.
if the #3 shows only 12 ohms and the other two show 22 ohms, the question for you to ask the dealership (parts department)"what is the factory specifications for an ohms reading on the number 3 EGR?
Is there anyway for you to send pic of this project? It would help tremendously. send to lockdownking@yahoo.com
