Chevrolet Repair: Gauges, Auto Lights all not working, chev malibu, fuel gauge

Question
I have a 1997 Chev Malibu and just a couple days ago both the Temperature gauge and the Fuel gauge just stopped working. Along with that, the automatic lights that come on in the night time stopped working as well. Other lights on the dash like the selt belt light, high beam lights are also not working. Please give me some idea of what I should be looking for as the problem.

Hi Chantal, I'm not sure on this one but it might just be a bad body control module. I'm sure if the BCM controls the temp gauge and fuel gauge though. We have had a lot of problems with the level sensor in the fuel tank on this model!!
