Chevrolet Repair: 95 S10 Blazer will not start, s10 blazer, engine cranks

Question
Van - I have a 95 S10 Blazer that won't start.  Engine cranks fine, but will not fire.  I haven't  had any problems prior to this.  Nothing that would indicate a problem was coming. I don't hear the fuel pump running when I turn the key to start as most cars have sound of pump running.  Could this be a fuel pump problem. If so where is pump located?  Thanks

Answer
Hello Dan,
Yes, you should hear the fuel pump running.
It is inside the fuel tank.
Doesn't necessarily mean the pump itself is bad. Could be the fuse, the relay, or a loose ground or wire connection.

Or it could be the pump. Just don't replace it till you are sure power and ground are getting to it.
