Chevrolet Repair: brakes, rear drum brakes, chev cavalier

Question
I own a 2003 chev cavalier. I was experiencing some grinding noise the last few days, so I took it in for an inspection.  The associate told me that I needed new rotors for the front brakes as well as ceramic pads.  As I was reading my manual, it listed that the rear drum brakes were needing rotors not the front disc brakes.  So, have I made a mistake by adding rotors to the front?  And will this cause future problems, if the front disc brakes did not need the rotors?

Answer
No mistake by adding rotors.
The most problems I have seen with any cars brakes is misadjusting the rear brake shoes or not adjusting them at all.
As long as the 4 brakes are being applied at the same time and evenly everything should be fine.
It is a good idea to have the rears adjusted.Correctly.
