Chevrolet Repair: 96 malibu stall problem, fuel pressure, fuel pump

bought my car used less than a year ago. while driving the engine quits turns over on restart then chugs out. mechanic ran diagnostics no codes. then replaced fuel pump and filter when problem happened when i left garage.picked up car and 10 minutes later engine quit again. he now is looking for new computer. any ideas, help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thank you

Before replacing the computer, I would for sure want the fuel pressure tested....and not for just "seems like plenty". I would make sure it has the specefied fuel pressure.

And there are plenty of things that could cause that without storing a code....and most can be checked.
