Question
what would cause the park brake light to come on and if the brake is not on? The light blinks once for a long time then blinks about 3 to 4 times after that then repeats over annd over again while engine is on or off. I have replaced the master cylinder and bled the system fully. I tried to find out if it was a code or not but I think that the code is 13 or 14. The park brake is not on nor is it stuck. I bench bled the master cylinder prior to installation. What else could I check to see what going on? Thank you very much. Shar

Hi Shar, Try disconnecting the battery to clear the code in the ABS brake system. The code as I remember it is for the dump valve for the ABS. If you clear the code it might be fine, if not then you need to have the system checked out.
