Chevrolet Repair: Car stero intermittent sound, intermittent sound, chevy impala

I have a 2001 Chevy Impala. 25000 miles. The sound on my factory installed radio/CD/tape player has just started going out intermittently. There is no distinquishable pattern. It happens when I have just started the car, when I'm sitting still, and when I'm moving. It's getting worse with less and less sound.

Hi David, this sounds like your radio is going bad. The only fix is to have a dealer (GM) order you a radio from the repair place that they use and install it in your car. They will then send yours back to the repair shop so they can fix it for the next person.
