Chevrolet Repair: dripping water under front of van, hello dawn, drain tube

Question
Hi. I have a 2002 Chev Venture. I have not noticed this before, but there is water dripping under the front of the van. Enough to make a large hand sized puddle in about an hour. If I watch it I can see the drip every 30 seconds or so. We are intending to take the van on a 4 hr drive next week and am concerned that something is up. It seems to be driving fine and the AC is working. My first thought was it was something to do with the AC. However I only noticed the drip today and we have not had the AC turned on today prior to the dripping. We just had the van in as the break fluid light came on. The mechanic said it just needed topping up no leaks and all looked fine. I have looked at the newest puddle. Still appears to be water. No colour or odor to it.

Any comments to calm my nerves would be appreciated.

Thanks
Dawn

Answer
Hello Dawn, The only placr this can bo coming from is the A/C heater drain. There might be a small bug in the drain tube and that is restricking the water flow from getting out. This could be why it is just dripping out so slowly, or it could just be normal. I think that you have nothing to worry about.
