Chevrolet Repair: code reader, obd ii, change thanks

Hi, I do have a GEO Tracker 1993, 1.6 sohc(8 val.) and want to get the code reader but haven´t been able to find out wich is the model OBDI, OBDII.  Since I´m overseas I´m not able to get the information from a dealer.  I have the check engine light on and whant to buy, on line, the reader to fix it up so don´t whant to get the wrong one cause won´t be able to get it back for change.  Thank´s for your time.

I would bet OBD II, But have no way to find out.

Look on the little tag in the engine compartment.

If you check that decal in the glove compartment, and google search for RPO codes, some code there will tell you.
