Chevrolet Repair: brake rotors, brake rotors, silverado

I need to replace the front brake rotors on my vehicle and would like to know if all rotor manufaturers are the same. There seems to be a big gap in prices. The vehicle is a 99 silverado.thanks

All have to meet a minimum manufactures rating but all are not the same, some use a better and thicker grade of steel, bottom line is you get what you pay for, not to say you have to spend big dollars for a decent set of rotors but I would avoid the " cheap" ones. you can expect to pay between $50 and $75 each for a decent set of rotors
