what should  i expect to pay to repair a blown head gasket on a 1995 chevy caprice thank you

I don't know what a commercial establishment would charge for that, but they will probably try to sell you on valve jobs, and some other repairs at the same time, and the price could grow quite high.

Just a ballpark guess, for only replacing the head gasket would be $500. but please forgive me if I am way off on that. I don't pay to have stuff worked on, I do it.
